CVE-2022-32211Network attack vector

Credential secret disclosure via SQL injection

Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025

SQL injection in Rocket.Chat before 3.18.6, 4.4.4, or 4.7.3 lets remote authenticated users retrieve reset tokens or 2FA secrets. The affected SQL handling permits injected query predicates to read authentication secrets, although the specific code locus is not published. Exploitation requires a network connection and an authenticated account; the disclosed impact is secret disclosure, with no independently documented arbitrary code execution.
