Service interruption via excessive packets to port
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 24, 2024
Improper input validation in Huawei CV81-WDM Firmware 01.70.49.29.46 allows remote attackers to interrupt printer service. The firmware inadequately validates a large volume of packets sent to a specific network port, driving the affected service into an abnormal state. The target device must be network-reachable; exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction and affects availability only.
