CVE-2022-32176Network attack vector

Administrator account takeover via unrestricted compressed upload

Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated May 10, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Gin-Vue-Admin 2.5.1 through 2.5.3b allows remote authenticated users to steal an administrator's cookie. The Media Library's Compress Upload path accepts a JavaScript-bearing file without restricting its dangerous type, then stores it for later viewing. A low-privilege account can plant the file, but an administrator must view it before the script runs and enables account takeover.
