CVE-2022-32159Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via unescaped href values

Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Stored XSS in Internet Archive Infogami 0.2 through 0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Four Templetor templates render changequery or urlencode results into href attributes with raw-output syntax, allowing crafted values to break out of those attributes. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a different user to render the affected link; script executes in that viewer's browser context.
