Algorithmic complexity denial of service in Go x/text before 0.3.8 allows remote attackers to consume CPU via Accept-Language headers. ParseAcceptLanguage passes arbitrarily complex BCP 47 tag lists into a quadratic-time parser without bounding their complexity or number of separators. Exposure requires an application to pass attacker-controlled Accept-Language values to the function; crafted values can tie up request processing without reading or altering data.
