Unauthenticated service disruption via crafted packets
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 20, 2024
Improper input validation in Huawei CV81-WDM Firmware 01.70.49.29.46 allows remote attackers to disrupt service with crafted packets. Huawei states only that affected systems insufficiently verify specially crafted packets and does not identify the receiving component or validation error. The packets require network reachability and no authentication or user action; exploitation can disrupt service and read or alter limited data.
