Improper file access in CODESYS Runtime Toolkit and PLCWinNT V2 before 2.4.7.57 allows remote attackers to read or write internal files. The V2 communication server's file download and upload function performs no path filtering, exposing files in its working directory. Requests run only after controller authentication or when no level 1 password is configured, enabling confidential-file reads, local-file changes, and service interruption.
