Out-of-bounds access in the CODESYS V2 communication server before 2.4.7.57 allows remote authenticated users to crash it or overwrite memory. The server uses invalid offsets from a crafted service request for an internal read or write beyond the intended memory bounds. A controller login, or no configured level 1 online password, is required; exploitation can interrupt the runtime or corrupt local files.
