Heap-based buffer overflow in CODESYS Runtime Toolkit and PLCWinNT before 2.4.7.57 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite memory. The communication server writes beyond a heap allocation while processing a crafted CODESYS protocol service request; the affected parser and field are undisclosed. A prior controller login is required unless no level 1 online password is configured, and exploitation can also interrupt the runtime service.
