Application crash via undersized TIFF strip buffer

Heap buffer overflow in ImageMagick 7 before 7.1.0-47 and 6 before 6.9.12-62 allows local users to crash TIFF-processing applications. ReadTIFFImage calculates the strip_pixels allocation without multiplying by the image depth's bytes per sample, so malformed high-depth TIFF strips overflow the undersized heap buffer. Exploitation requires attacker-supplied TIFF data to be processed; the published consequence is undefined behavior or an application crash, with no reported disclosure or modification.
