Browser script execution via unsanitized dispatchcategory
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Arox School ERP Pro 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via dispatchcategory. The dispatch-category handler in backoffice.inc.php accepts script markup in dispatchcategory and later renders it without output neutralization. Execution requires a user to load the affected view; the injected script then runs with access to data and actions available to that browser session.
