Unauthenticated service interruption via unchecked JSON copies
Published Jul 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK T6 firmware 4.1.9cu.5179_B20201015 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted JSON. The web component's FUN_004133c4 function copies the desc, week, sTime, and eTime values into stack-local variables without checking their lengths. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to service interruption.
