Authenticated database disclosure via crafted car ID
Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Campcodes Car Rental Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted car ID. The admin manage_car endpoint incorporates the id parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a UNION payload to return the active database name. Access to an administrator session is required, and the published proof demonstrates database disclosure but does not demonstrate modification or deletion.
