Database disclosure via injectable movement identifier
Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Car Rental Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The admin/manage_movement.php endpoint passes the id value to a database query without neutralizing injected UNION SQL, and the published request returns the active database name. An authenticated administrator session is required to reach the endpoint; the demonstrated consequence is database-name disclosure, while broader database reads or writes were not demonstrated.
