Database disclosure via unneutralized company search input
Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Campcodes Complete Online Job Search System 1.0 allows attackers to read database data through the by-company search. The /eris/index.php?q=result&searchfor=bycompany handler fails to neutralize quote and UNION syntax in the POST SEARCH value before using it in a database query. Reachability requires an HTTP session to submit the search form; the public report demonstrates database disclosure but does not establish write access or code execution.
