Authenticated database disclosure via user-edit id injection
Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Complete Online Job Search System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database-derived values via a crafted id parameter. The /eris/admin/user/index.php user-edit handler accepts the id query parameter without neutralizing a quote and UNION SELECT syntax, allowing attacker-controlled SQL to alter the query result. A valid administrative session is required; the published proof reads the current database name, while broader record access or modification is not demonstrated.
