Authenticated SQL injection via manage_team id parameter
Published Jun 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Fire Reporting System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the manage_team id parameter. The administrative manage_team endpoint evaluates attacker-controlled SQL syntax from the id query parameter, and response-length differences disclose Boolean query results. A valid management-panel session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is blind extraction of information accessible to the application database account.
