Authenticated database disclosure via response ID injection
Published Jun 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in ChatBot App with Suggestion 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database contents through the response-view ID parameter. The response viewer passes attacker-controlled ID syntax into a database query, enabling boolean-based extraction through response-length differences. An authenticated administrative session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of database values.
