Database disclosure via injectable response ID
Published Jun 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in ChatBot App with Suggestion 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the response ID. The response-management page incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, and response-length differences expose Boolean query results. Access to the admin panel and a valid session are required; successful exploitation can extract database contents one condition at a time.
