Reflected XSS via unsanitized error_description parameter
Published Sep 28, 2022 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in oVirt Engine 4.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through error_description. The Windows Service Accounts home page inserts the error_description parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. An unauthenticated remote attacker must persuade a user to follow a crafted request; execution is limited to that user's browser context.
