Browser script execution via incorrect input validation
Published Jul 11, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site scripting in EGT-Kommunikationstechnik UG Mediacenter before 2.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. Online_Update.php processes untrusted input with incorrect validation; the vendor does not disclose the affected parameter or output context. User interaction is required, and the flaw alone cannot take over the site, although chaining it with arbitrary file write enables full site and customer compromise.
