Unauthenticated outlet-state disclosure via unchecked PHP pages
Published Dec 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper authorization in Dataprobe iBoot-PDU firmware 1.42.06162022 and earlier lets remote attackers read outlet states through PHP pages. The pages treat a working database connection as sufficient validation but never verify that the requester is an authorized user. No credentials or user interaction are required; the exposed data is limited to outlet on/off state.
