CVE-2022-31746Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Privileged URL access via Referrer key disclosure

Published Dec 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Information exposure in Firefox for iOS before 102 allows remote attackers to obtain a secret UUID key through a crafted web page. ReaderViewLoading.html omits a restrictive referrer policy, so loading an original page sends an internal URL containing the UUID key in the Referrer header. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted Reader View flow and load the original page; the disclosed key permits access to privileged internal URLs.
