Heap overflow in OpenSLP in VMware ESXi 6.5, 6.7, and 7.0 allows local users in a sandbox process to disclose host information. VMware identifies the affected locus as OpenSLP but has not published the input, allocation, or copy operation that overruns the heap buffer. Exploitation requires restricted local privileges inside an ESXi sandbox, and the documented consequence is partial information disclosure.
