Credential disclosure via unredacted settings and API responses
Published Jun 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in ownCloud Server before 10.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to read credentials from settings and API responses. Several ownCloud apps returned stored credential values in plaintext instead of removing sensitive fields from rendered settings HTML and API response bodies. An authenticated user must reach an affected settings page or API response, and the reported consequence is credential disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
