Improper authorization in NVIDIA vGPU software before 14.2, 13.4, or 11.9 allows local users to compromise guest isolation. The Virtual GPU Manager plugin permits a guest VM to allocate resources without verifying authorization, enabling unauthorized access to host-managed resources. A local guest account with basic capabilities is required, and consequences include data disclosure or tampering and denial of service.
