Out-of-bounds access in NVIDIA Cloud Gaming Guest Driver releases before the August 2022 release allows local users to compromise the Windows kernel. The nvlddmkm.sys DxgkDdiEscape handler fails to validate user-controlled data before accessing kernel memory outside the intended bounds. Basic user capabilities are sufficient; exploitation can disclose kernel data, tamper with data, elevate privileges, or interrupt the system.
