CVE-2022-31599

Code execution via uninitialized Ofbd pointer

Published Jul 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Uninitialized-pointer access in NVIDIA DGX A100 before 22.5.5 allows local users to execute code through the SBIOS Ofbd component. The Ofbd component accesses a pointer before it is initialized, permitting memory use without a valid target.
