Shop Manager action forgery via unchecked AJAX requests
Published Oct 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in three Viszt Péter WordPress plugins allows remote attackers to trigger privileged AJAX actions. Various AJAX handlers accept state-changing requests without validating a WordPress nonce, including wc_billingo_plus_license_deactivate. A remote attacker must induce a logged-in Shop Manager or higher-privileged user to submit a crafted request; exploitation can deactivate a plugin license or perform other exposed actions.
