Browser script execution via unencoded action parameter
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in LibreHealth EHR Base 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via the action parameter. The gacl/admin/acl_admin.php page prints the action query value into generated HTML without output encoding, causing crafted markup to execute as script. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL; successful execution can read or modify data available to that user's browser session.
