Database disclosure via language-cookie SQL injection
Published May 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Inout Blockchain AltExchanger 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to read database contents through a crafted language cookie. The /index.php/home/about route passes the inoutio_language cookie into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a SLEEP expression to create a time-based oracle. No authentication is required; the demonstrated consequence is database information disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
