Database disclosure via injectable symbol parameter
Published May 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Inout Blockchain AltExchanger 1.2.1 and FiatExchanger 2.2.1 allows remote attackers to read database data. The unauthenticated Chart/TradingView/chart_content/master.php endpoint accepts quote-terminated symbol values that alter MySQL query evaluation through error-, Boolean-, or time-based payloads. No account or user interaction is required, and published demonstrations retrieve database identifiers, the database user, and the server banner.
