Authenticated arbitrary file read via Exporter path traversal
Published Jul 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in Liquid Web GiveWP 2.20.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through Exporter requests. The Exporter fails to confine a GiveWP Manager-controlled path to intended export files, exposing other paths readable by the PHP process. A GiveWP Manager account is required, and disclosure is limited to files accessible under the web server process permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
