Uncontrolled resource consumption in Mattermost 7.0.x and earlier allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the server via JPEG uploads. The image-upload path permits concurrent JPEG files to consume excessive memory because their in-memory sizes are not adequately bounded. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and a susceptible system configuration; memory exhaustion can deny server availability.
