CVE-2022-31460Known exploitationPublic exploit

Adjacent network access via hard-coded tethering credentials

Published Jun 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in Owl Labs Meeting Owl Pro 5.2.0.15 allow physically proximate attackers to access its configured network. The device accepts Bluetooth command 150 without authentication, enables Wi-Fi AP mode, and assigns every device the same hard-coded WPA password. Exploitation requires Bluetooth Low Energy or Wi-Fi proximity; the Owl then routes and NATs the attacker's traffic through its configured network.
