Browser script execution via unneutralized team name
Published Jul 26, 2023 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Truedesk 1.2.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts through a crafted team name. The team-name handler accepts a crafted value and places it into rendered page content without neutralizing script or HTML markup. Exploitation requires a user to view the affected content; code then runs in that user's browser and can read or alter data available to the session.
