Browser script execution via unsafe viewer controls
Published Sep 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in draw.io before 20.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a viewer user's browser via a crafted URL. The viewer's back and refresh controls use attacker-controlled navigation data without neutralizing script-capable content before placing it in the page. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted viewer link; the published CNA assessment reports integrity impact but no service interruption.
