Unrestricted file upload in CONTEC SolarView Compact 6.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted PHP file. The Solar_Image.php image-management endpoint accepts a PHP payload and stores it at the web-accessible /images/background/1.php path without blocking its executable type. No authentication or user interaction is required, and requesting the uploaded file executes code with the appliance web server privileges.
