Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
Stored XSS in Vladimir Prelovac SEO Smart Links 3.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a plugin setting. The “Whitelisted domains for nofollow exclusion” field stores input without sanitizing it or escapes when rendering the value. Administrator privileges are required, and the script executes when another user views the affected settings page, exposing that user's browser session to attacker-controlled actions.
