Unauthenticated database compromise via ProductID SQL injection
Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Ordering System 2.3.2 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through the ProductID POST parameter. The stockin/loaddata.php endpoint processes ProductID without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax, permitting a crafted UNION SELECT to return the current database name. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected queries can compromise the application's database confidentiality and integrity.
