CVE-2022-3133Public exploit

Command execution via externally loaded plugin scripts

Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

OS command injection in draw.io before 20.3.0 allows local attackers to execute commands after user interaction with a crafted plugin URL. App.main accepted plugin locations from URL-controlled configuration and passed external locations to mxscript instead of limiting them to built-in or same-domain scripts. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-supplied link, after which commands run with the desktop application's privileges.
