Admin-level SQL injection via unescaped deletion IDs
Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated May 14, 2025
SQL injection in Codexpert Search Logger 0.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the admin Logs page. The delete action inserts the selected ids[] value into a database statement without sanitization or escaping, as a verified time-delay payload demonstrates. A high-privilege WordPress account and valid nonce are required; exploitation permits database operations within the site's database-user privileges.
