Browser script execution via unescaped note parameter
Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in the User Upgrade Form in Angtech Haraj 3.7 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. The payform.php endpoint returns the note query parameter inside a textarea without neutralizing an injected closing tag and script element. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted upgrade-form URL, after which the script runs in the Haraj origin with that user's web-session privileges.
