Database disclosure and modification via unsanitized post ID
Published Jun 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Blind SQL injection in Online Discussion Forum Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the id parameter. The /odfs/posts/view_post.php handler uses the GET id value in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean, time-based, and UNION payloads. The post-viewing route is public, so no account or user interaction is required; successful queries expose or modify data available to the application's database user.
