Unauthenticated arbitrary post deletion via delete_post
Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authorization bypass in Online Discussion Forum Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary posts through the delete_post endpoint. The delete_post() function in /odfs/classes/Maset.php accepts a user-supplied post identifier without verifying ownership or authorization, enabling an IDOR request to remove any post. The endpoint is reachable without authentication; exploitation changes post data and does not provide evidence of confidentiality loss or service interruption.
