Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Donation Thermometer before 2.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through the currency setting. The plugin stores the Currency value without sanitizing it and returns it unescaped in an HTML attribute on the settings page and embedded thermometer pages. Administrator privileges are required, and a victim must load either page for the injected script to run in that browser.
