CVE-2022-31277

Authentication bypass via replayed control requests

Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Authentication bypass in Xiaomi Lamp 1 firmware 2.0.4_0066 allows attackers to control lamp functions via a replayed POST request. The lamp's HTTP control interface accepts a previously captured POST request as authorized when it is resent. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and capture of a valid request; the replay grants control of the switch and other functions.
