Improper permission preservation in Dell PowerScale OneFS 9.2.0 through 9.3.0.5 allows local users to obtain limited information via SyncIQ. SyncIQ fails to preserve intended filesystem permissions on dataset parent directories, exposing data to a low-privileged local attacker. Exploitation requires local access to the cluster and a permission configuration that places SyncIQ datasets under improperly protected parent directories; the documented consequence is limited confidentiality loss without integrity or availability impact.
