Password disclosure via cleartext FINS protection commands

Cleartext transmission in Omron CS, CJ, and CP series PLCs allows attackers to capture UM Protection passwords on the network. The FINS Program Area Protect and Program Area Protect Clear commands transmit the configured password without encryption while setting or clearing protection. Packet interception or a man-in-the-middle position is required; the exposed password enables protected project or logic uploads and downloads.
