Stored script execution via global search rendering
Published Sep 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cross-site scripting in GLPI 10.0.0 through 10.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute stored script through global search. Search::giveItem treated GLOBAL_SEARCH differently from HTML_OUTPUT when converting rich-text names, so script-related tags reached an HTML rendering context without the required neutralization. Authentication is required, and the vendor assessment bounds the resulting effect to loss of service availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
